Ronald is fantastic! I would 100% hire him independently of Handy. However, I pay per hour on Handy, and if an incredibly efficient person like Ronald finishes cleaning my home in <2 hours, I still pay for 4.5 hours. Handy sends me a automatic message that Ronald left 4.5 hours after arriving when I know he actually left <2 hours after arrival. So should I tip on top of >$75/hr? I don’t make that hourly rate in my job. My last housekeeper on Handy said she ran out of things to do in 4.5 hours and asked me if she could do my laundry or clean my fridge or buy groceries for me because I was paying her for 4.5 hours. Handy should revise its housekeeper salary to hourly.
