The Handy Picture Hanging Workshop

The Handy London cleaning team were excited to launch the first ever summer DIY Workshop! They invited a Handy Pro into the offices to teach a workshop on how to hang your pictures properly. Our first event was a workshop on shelves and picture hanging, and we had a great crowd join us from all over London to learn a thing or two about picture hanging.
With instruction from one of the professional handymen on the Handy platform, folks learned about drill bits and fixings, avoiding power cables, hanging pictures and putting up floating shelves. That, mixed in with a few craft beers from London Fields Brewery and sourdough pizza from the legendary Franco Manca, and a great time was had by all!
For those who weren’t able to make it, here are some of the highlights:
- The attendees learned all about different drill bits and fixings!
- The proper and safe ways to use power tools.
- How to drill into plasterboard, drywall, masonry, and brick to hang pictures
- And finally how to put up shelves!
Keep following our updates and posts on the Handy Home Blog to see more in-depth guides to all of the above. But in the meantime, book a handyman service and have a professional near you come to hang those pictures instead!
